Imagine the smell of sizzling burgers and truffle fries, seeing the smiles of happy customers, and dining in a rustic themed bar and grill. With options from seafood to steak, the new BRGR, located at 5031 W. 135th St., has an immense variety to offer. This country-chic restaurant serves classic American cuisine, and is the proud home of over a dozen burger choices. At BRGR, there is something for everyone to love.

Upon walking in to BRGR, it was incredible to see the mass amount of people dining there on a Thursday night. The staff welcomed their customers to feel as if they were right at home. After being seated without a wait, the server was more than happy to explain the restaurant’s most popular dishes and tell about the legendary BRGR burgers.

At a typical bar and grill, it is not expected to have healthy meals to choose from. However, BRGR stands out from the rest with their variety of fresh mixed greens, protein-based dishes, and gluten free options. For example, the Green Goddess salad is a perfect dish for all those with a wholesome appetite. This crowd favorite, filled with romaine hearts, feta cheese, red peppers, olives and roasted chicken, serves as delicious and nutritious meal for a cost of $13.

Through their adventurous courses, BRGR makes dining a fun experience. For example, with the Build Your Own Mac & Cheese, the possibilities for different toppings and combinations seem endless. Anything from bacon, jalapeños, mushrooms, hamburger, grilled chicken, to sautéed onions can be added for $1 each. The customers have full creative control as to the makeup of their meal, and can go any direction they would like.

Opening their doors at 10:30 a.m. Saturdays, 10 a.m. Sundays, or 11:00 a.m. all other days, BRGR offers a brunch menu until 3:30 p.m. For a cost of $12, the Chicken & Waffles with Eggs is a great way for anyone to start their morning with a hearty meal. From 3-6 Monday-Friday, BRGR has happy hour at the bar and on the patio. With many extravagant drinks to choose from, those 21 and up will not be disappointed.

At BRGR, the prices can be compared to those of Tanner’s or Red Robin, but the food is beyond compare. This modern homestyle restaurant offers great deals where the customers pay for what they get – comfortable dining, good service, and even better food.

Overall, this five star bar and grill is a 100 percent recommended restaurant where customers will not be let down. Dress it up with a fancy dinner or dress it down with a simple brunch. Either way, BRGR has it all.
