Crow’s Coffee Should be the Newest Craze

The local coffee bar adds a new location in the Red Bridge Shopping Center that offers a refreshingly calm atmosphere.

Crow’s Coffee’s newest location is only three minutes from campus, making it one of the closest coffee shops to school.

Whether one is looking for a peaceful place to get homework done, somewhere to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee, or wanting to grab something on-the-go, Crow’s Coffee located on 535 E. Red Bridge Rd. is the place to go to.

The Red Bridge Shopping Center location of Crow’s Coffee is the newest edition to the local chain, with two other locations on the south Plaza and another in Waldo. The coffee bar is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m daily and is only three minutes away from campus, making it a convenient spot to go before, after, or even during school for seniors.

The shop features ambient lighting that reflects off the brick and wood panels as well as the teal and burnt sienna painted walls. There is ample amount of space which provides room for comfortable wooden chairs and tables. The local coffee shop’s earthy atmosphere is also due to the plentiful amount of outside seating which is a rare find at most coffee shops. Another bonus is the long table in front of the folding windows that they open when weather permits so enjoyment of the lingering smell of coffee and fresh air are both possible.

Crow’s Coffee is unique because of its vibe. Unlike most coffee shops, it is very inviting and peaceful leaving customers with a more personal experience. There is also faint mellow music which creates a tranquil setting. A healthy flow of people of all ages come in and out the shop. Most of the customers come to stay, looking for a place to do work, talk over drinks or even enjoy a board game with their friends.

Crow’s Coffee’s menu offers not only coffee and tea but a variety of fresh pastries that are made at the Waldo location.

They offer hot and iced coffee and coffee drinks, tea, baked goods and snacks. All of their pastries are baked daily at their Waldo location and is evident in their sweet and fresh tasting options. The blueberry scone in particular crumbles in the mouth, leaving the feeling of satisfaction when looking for a light snack. They also offer breakfast burritos and quiches if a snack isn’t filling enough.

Most of their drinks are available in eight-ounce, 12-ounce, 16-ounce and 20-ounce sizes. They serve Messenger Coffee Co. products which are full of body and are well balanced. The menu also includes tea with the Crow’s Chai being a customer favorite.  Along with the cool vibe all there stuff is relatively cheap. All of their items range from $2 to $6 making it an affordable and gratifying option.

The service lives up to the products if not surpassing them. The employees have a calming and friendly presence which helps create the chill atmosphere.They work quick and have food and drinks ready within minutes of ordering. 

Overall Crow’s Coffee is a fresh breath to normally hectic coffee shop. It is the ideal hangout spot outside of school or home and is definitely a great place to get coffee.
