The Varsity Basketball game has been rescheduled for this Saturday at noon and is still taking place at St. Teresa’s Academy. The game is sold out and only varsity is playing. The theme is boxing, and students cannot wear boxing gloves or have any fake blood on their body, according to Scream Team Leader senior Aiden McEnerney.

The game is sold out. There were 200 tickets reserved for Sion students, according to STA’s Athletic Director Mark Hough, that needed to be purchased online. This is the first time ever that STA has used Eventbrite for students to purchase tickets. No students will be able to buy tickets at the game, they had to be purchased beforehand.

“With Missouri State High School Activities Association, other local schools and our own fine arts productions moving towards online ticket sales, we are going to see how this works and decide if we want to continue in the future,” Hough said.

A portion of the proceeds from the game will be donated to the non-profit Children for Peace.
