No one could forget that sound.  That deep, rich, and expressive sound that couldn’t be found anywhere else.  Adele Adkins has a vocal range unlike anyone else in the music industry.  People fell in love with her classic hits such as “Rolling in the Deep” and “Someone Like You” that marked her spot in the music world.  Despite her solid foundation in the music industry, she slipped through the cracks after the release of “21,” her second album, because she gave birth to a son and she had serious vocal surgery in 2011.

After a long four year wait, Nov. 20 was a date many fans had been looking forward to.  Adele’s third album, “25,” is a reawakening of that soulful voice brought to life through subtle harmonies and smooth piano ballads.  Simple rhythms will a powerful voice create a combination of songs audiences are sure to love.

Adele gave her fans an unexpected surprise sneak peak of her new album on Oct. 23 with the release of “Hello,” the first song off of “25.”  It immediately shocked the world and according to Music Business Worldwide the music video of “Hello” exceeded 23.2 million views in its first 24 hours of release.  This means it has the largest day-one performance in history for a music video.  Not too bad for Adele’s comeback.

Besides “Hello,” which immediately crawled up to the top songs on iTunes, songs off of the latest album are sure to join.  “When We Were Young,” with its poetic lyrics and chilling harmonies is a hit waiting to happen.  There are also, the classic, somber songs that you need a tissue box next to you when you listen such as “All I Ask” and “Million Years Ago.”  It is through these songs you hear Adele’s passion and intensity in her songs.

“25” also sheds light on Adele’s upbeat side.  A few songs offer an alternative to the melancholy vibe of the album.  “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” grabs your attention immediately with the enticing beat and will have you singing along in no time.  “Water Under the Bridge” offers the same effect in its deep lyrics referring back to uncertain love.

Greg Kurstin and Paul Epworth, a few of the co-writers and producers on the album seemed to have crafted the album with Adele’s enchanting voice in mind.  Most songs have a simple instrumental background such as a guitar or piano with the main force being Adele’s voice.  This creates a compelling a focal point for her talent.  “Love In the Dark” is a clear example of this with a soulful chorus featuring a simple piano ballad.

Adele decided not to stream her album “25.”  Instead audiences can purchase the album on iTunes for $10.99 where each song will be pulling you in lyric by lyric.  A strong and outstanding return to music, nothing can stop Adele now.
