How fabulous would it be to get a makeover  in hair, wardrobe, diet, culture and interior design all by five men talented in each category?

The popular Netflix show “Queer Eye” has made its way to Kansas City to film season three. In this season, eight lucky men, women and couples experience a life-changing makeover.

This is the first time the show has ventured outside of it’s previous shooting location in Atlanta. Kansas City Mayor Sly James made a video for the producers and cast encouraging them to produce season three in the city.

“Queer Eye” stars five gay men (the Fab Five), who are experts in grooming, fashion, food and wine, culture and design. They come into the lives of individuals who seek help for a better lifestyle.

The guys come to the candidate’s home and get to know their current lifestyle from favorite foods to current wardrobe choices. After their deep investigation, they’ll jump right into their personal space from critiquing their fashion choices to roaming through their medicine cabinet.  After they find out what kind of life they live, the team begins the building of the candidate’s new life.

It all starts with one of the five. The fashion master, Tan France, takes the contestant on the ultimate shopping spree where he will find the color palette, fit and style that matches them best.

Working with Antoni Porowski, food and wine, they will discover their inner chef. He’ll make their favorite food using fresher and organic ingredients to form a personalized diet.

After a trip to a local salon with Jonathan Van Ness, grooming, they’ll leave looking like a different person.

After the life-changing grooming, a chat with Karamo Brown, culture, will open up a deep discussion on life choices.

Through a week full a life changes that for others could take years, the special few are taken back to their dream home which has been madeover by design expert Bobby Berk.

Returning home, the Fab Five get together to watch a mini reality show on a day in the life of the man or woman they have made over.

The series began shooting season 3 this summer and made eight episodes that will stream on Netflix in 2019.
