Before the talent show, juniors Abby Valentine and Serena Colyer look at the chalk drawings in the New Grande Salle. Both the talent show and annual chalk drawing exhibit have been a tradition since the first Fine Arts Day.

Senior Kelly Lowndes was part of the duo that led Fine Arts Day 2015. The day has been a tradition at Sion for over fifteen years and is a way to showcase the visual and performing artists in the student body.

Freshman Darby Hurlburt, juniors Isadora Comens and Guthrie Kimball, freshman Emily Bello, sophomores Taylor Ramsey and Jade Harvey, senior Michaela Rupp, and juniors Olivia Neal and Madison Masilionis performed “Walking on Sunshine.”

Freshman and sophomore Emma and Anna Cosner performed “Tork” on various percussion instruments.

Freshman and Junior Aiden and Molly McEnerney sang “That’s What’s Up” April 24 for Fine Arts Day. Earlier in the year, they sang “Blank Space” as a pair at the family spirit night at the Roasterie.

Junior Madison Masilionis was part of the group of juniors that sang “Rather Be.” The song by Clean Bandit is the most popular out of its album, “New Eyes.”

Junior Olivia Neal sang “Rather Be” in a group with juniors Isadora Comens, Caroline Hodes, Madison Masilionis and Aneliese Peeler.

Fine Arts Day 2015 senior emcees Maura Healy and Kelly Lowndes kick off the annual event with a routine. Last year’s theme was “Steampunk,” and this year’s was “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
