Night of One Acts: Photo Gallery

Students performed various skits, plays and improv at the annual student-directed Night of One Acts Oct. 9.

  • Senior Phoebe Mullen and freshman Ellie Meredith performed as young Santana and young Azmira in Night of One Acts’ final play “Lemonpops and Teardrops” Oct 9. Written by sophomore Tyra Frazier and directed by senior Hannah Sue Kennish, “Lemonpops and Teardrops” served as the only student-written play for the evening.

  • Senior Cara Hiatt and freshman Caroline Dold performed as stock characters Arlequinno and Pantalone in “Commedia dell’Arte at The Airport.” This year, by the direction of visual and performing arts teacher Maggie Killian, Commedia dell’Arte was incorporated into Night of One Acts Oct. 9. Commedia dell’Arte is an Italian based improv comedy based on stock characters. Students from creative writing classes wrote scenarios for the Night of One Acts’ performance.
